Microsoft 365 is a subscription-based service for Microosft Office business productivity software Ie.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ...etc.) and online services (e.g., Exchange, Sharepoint, ..etc.).

Microsoft 365 plans can inlcude Office software which can run on desktop and mobile devices for both PC and mac. The benefit of Microsoft 365 is that the subscription includes software updates at no additional cost.

O365 plans can include web-based versions of Office applications and cloud services like Exchange email server, Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, and Skype of Business.

Microsoft 365 also includes online cloud storage on Microsoft's OneDrive service.

There are two sets of plans: M365 Business Plans and M365 Enterprise Plans.

The Microsoft 365 Business plans are designed for small businees with less than 300 employees. The maximum number of users is 300. If your business has more than 300 employees or is projected to grow over 300 employees in the coming years, then you should use the Enterprise plans.

The Enterprise E3 plan includes additional services such as security and compliance tools (eDiscovery, legal hold, data loss prevention...etc.) and provides more Email storage.
